Lorraine Wu's student Ethan Chen wins Gold Medal at Markham Music Festival 2009. He took first prize in the Class 35A Grade 5 Sonatina with a 90. His 2009 RCM Examination Grade 5 Piano exam grade was also a 90!

Yuka Kobayashi with her student Herbert Fong, who won the Most Promising Award - Music Event (receiving a trophy and Scholarship) at The 16th Mandarin Lions Arts Festival 2009. In 2008 Hebert won First Prize Winner at the 15th Mandarin Lions Arts Festival in the Piano Concert Group age 13 and under. Herbert received 90 on his RCM grade 9 piano exam!!!
