DR. KUI MIN, a highly praised performer, teacher and scholar is a recipient of many awards and honors, including the first prize in the First China International Piano Competition Southwest Division, Outstanding Performance Certificate in the Dorothy A. Anderson International Piano Competition, the winner of Concerto Competitions at the Wilfrid Laurier University and the University of Notre Dame, and recently the winner of Beethoven Competition at the University of Wisconsin‐Madison School of Music. Dr. Min has been heard in may concert halls in Canada, USA, Japan and China. Dr. Min has toured with The Canadian Consort let by Maestro Chosei Komatsu, representing Canadian government, performing in 14 cities in Japan including solo performance for The Imperial House of Japan. With over 18 years of success in teaching piano to all ages and levels from young beginners to piano majors in universities in Canada, USA and China, Dr. Min has developed an innovative pedagogy that combines Eastern and Western schools.  [More details]

A concert pianist, he specializes in contemporary music, appearing regularly on New Music Concerts and as a freelance accompanist. He attended Banff Arts Centre, studying with Oscar Ghiglia and studied privately with Alice Artzt in New York City.     attended the Mount Royal College Academy of Music in Calgary, where she had many opportunities to study with renowned pianists including: Marek Jablonski, Lee Kum Sing, Marc Durand, and Robin Wood. While studying with Marilyn Engle in Calgary, she was an active participant and a winner in various musical festivals and competitions, including the Calgary Kiwanis Festival and the Canadian Music Competition, for which she was awarded first prize in the Provincial division.     A native of Taiwan, Lorraine Wu began her early training in Piano at age of five. She attended Manhattan School of Music for both undergraduate and graduate studies under the tutelage of professor Zenon Fishbein. After receiving her masters' degree from Manhattan School of Music in 2007, Miss Wu worked with world-renown pianists such as Bernard Ringeissen (France), Epifanio Comis (Italy) at the Samuel Barber International Music Festival in West Chester, PA.     [More details]

    Acclaimed as “one of the 10 Promising Future Stars in China” by the People’s Daily News, pianist Lu Wang has established a career performing throughout the U.S., China, and Europe. His concretizing career has brought him to many prestigious halls, including Alice Tully Hall at Lincoln Center, New York’s Steinway Hall, Hong Kong’s Performing Arts Center, People’s Palace in Beijing, Beijing Central Concert Hall, and Xinghai and Shanghai Music Halls. In 2000, he was invited to play recitals at the Glinka Choir College and Chamber Music Concerts at the Composers’ Union in St. Petersburg, Russia. His establishments in China include collaborations with China’s National Symphony, the National Ballet, Shanghai Symphony Orchestra, Shanghai Radio Symphony Orchestra and the Guangzhou Symphony Orchestra.    [More details]

    M.M. & B.M., Flute Performance.

    Recognized for her dedication and musicality, Mexican flutist and piccolist Alheli Pimienta is in demand as a solo recitalist and chamber musician. Appearances include venues in Mexico, the United States, and France. She has performed in youth and professional symphony orchestras throughout Mexico, the University of Idaho Symphony Orchestra, the Washington-Idaho Symphony, and the Walla Walla Symphony, both as guest soloist and flute or piccolo chair. Appreciated for her technical abilities and interpretation, Alheli has won national and international competitions such as The Crescendo Music Awards where she was awarded the Gold Medal as the first woodwind player to receive this honor, the National Flute Competition "Gildardo Mojica" in Mexico City where she won the second placement, the Seattle Women Music Competition, and the Concerto/Aria Competitions of the University of Idaho winning first and second prizes in multiple occasions.

    Tristan de Borba

    Tristan de Borba is a classical saxophonist, clarinetist and a Wind Ensemble conductor.  He earned a Master of Music degree in Orchestral Instrument Performance at the University of British Columbia where he studied with world-renowned saxophonist Julia Nolan and with conductor Martin Berinbaum.  Tristan completed a Bachelor of Music Performance degree at the University of Toronto in 2007.He is a two-time scholarship winner at the University of British Columbia and a three-time scholarship winner at the University of Toronto. A pianist for Hallelujah Chinese Evangelical Free Church, Hannah has led summer camps, played prestigious festivals, and taught Sunday school. She has won musical awards and has her ARCT in Piano.     Kathy Feng   began her piano studies at the age of seven followed by a debut performance at the Toronto Centre for the Arts two years later.  Since then she has performed at CBC's Glenn Gould Studio, won awards and scholarships at competitions like the GTA's Kiwanis Music Festival and the Canadian Music Competition.  At the age of 12 she began her full scholarship studies with Marietta Orlov, graduating with an ARCT in piano performance.  Currently she is at the University of Toronto.
